Includes "postface" text by both Rothenberg and Cohen. A fascinating collaboration joining the spiritual world with the computer world. Rothenberg's renderings of the Yaqui songs which call on otherworldly forces are joined with Cohen's computer-generated art. A painter in the abstract-expressionist tradition, Cohen turned away from that mode and began collobrating with computer scientists starting in the early 1970s to create the first A.I. artmaking program, AARON.
