Scarce handbill for this benefit event with woodblock designs by Larionov on both sides. Signed by Larionov in ink on the front beneath the larger of his designs; on the reverse beneath his smaller image he has written his initials "M.L." The event was charity ball held to aid Russian artists in exile from the Soviet Union. Participants named on the front of the announcement include Goncharova, Delaunay, Léger, Iliazde, Tzara, along with a lengthy list of supporters on the reverse including Cocteau, Derain, Diaghilev, Dufy, Satie, Foujita, Gris, Marinetti, Matisse, Mayakovsky, Picasso, Picabia, Pound, Stravinsky and many others.
