Copy number 1 of the special limited issue of fifty numbered copies; this one belonged to the poet's mother, Grace Hart Crane and has her ownership signature on the recto of the frontispiece portrait, dated March 1933, the month of publication. Although she had been estranged from her son at thew time of his suicide, Grace Hart Crane became his literary executor and devoted her life to promoting his work.
