One of 200 numbered (#175) copies on Holland, this was from the publisher's own library and has the joint bookplate of Harry and Caresse Crosby. Harry Crosby committed suicide in New York in 1929 while The Bridge was in the early stages of production. He and Caresse had visited Crane just a few days earlier and in the aftermath of the scandalous death she returned to Paris to oversee the completion of the book. Schwartz & Schweik A2.
