Item #204885 Mica 7; November 1962. Charles Bukowski.

Mica 7; November 1962

Santa Barbara, California: Helmut Bonheim and Raymond Federman, 1962. 8vo, 32pp; wrappers, stapled. Very faint lightening at spine, fine and bright. Item #204885

Scarce mimeograph magazine featuring contributions from John Thomas, Carol Berge, George Hitchcock, Larry Eigner, and others, most notably Charles Bukowski whose long poem "WW2" appears here for the first time. An autobiographical text, and one of Bukowski's very few statements concerning the war -- in which he pointedly did not serve -- it was not reprinted until 1972 when it was included in the Black Sparrow edition of Mockingbird Wish Me Luck. An important early publication.

Price: $100.00
