Georg Bernhard (1875-1944) German-Jewish liberal journalist, editor of the "Vossische Zeitung" and later founder of the exile newspaper "Pariser Tageblatt." Bernhard, along with his correspondent Oscar Meyer, had been key players in the founding of the liberal Deutsche Demokratische Partei in the aftemath of the First World War. He writes both on his way to, and at, the World Jewish Congress.
