Chapel Hill, N.C. -. Six pages, on three leaves, approx. 7-1/4 X 10-1/2 in. Paper clip mark; some rumpling. Item #203564

Adolf Drucker (1876-1967) was a prominnet Viennese lawyer and civil servant. His son Peter became well known in the U.S. as a business managment consultant and professor, who wrote on economic matters for the Wall Street Journal. Here the elder Drucker writes what amounts to a lengthy essay on the notion of neo-romanticism as a hallmark of contemporary German political history. Discusses Carl Schmitt and Heinrich von Loesch, etc. Drucker asks his son to preserve the letter, as he may want to use it for a lecture or a foreword and has no copy.
