Three poems that were eventually to be included in Bertolucci's most celebrated collection Viaggio d'inverno (1971); the first two here have been signed by Bertolucci, with the second of the being dated in type: "Roma, 27 ottobre 1961." The third poem is signed in type. One of Italy's major poets and winner (1996) of the Montale Prize, Italy's highest literary honor, Bertolucci was also father to two important film directors, Giuseppe and Bernardo.
