Edition limited to twenty numbered copies and three artist's proofs, comprising nine poems by Edson with nine three-color intaglio etchings by Rathman. This is the first of the artist's proofs, numbered and signed by Rathman, and sent by the artist to the poet, with Rathman's letter to Edson loosely inserted, along with the publisher's prospectus and a copy of a biographical profile of Rathman. A skillfully executed artist's book, infrequently encountered.
