An attractive group of broadsheet announcements of readings in the series that was initiated at the Worcester Public Library to draw attention to contemporary poetry and to poets of the region. The present group spans dates from May, 1971 to October, 1974. Each piece has a different design and illustration; each reproduces a poem either selected from the poet's published works or in advance of its book-publication; and each includes a brief biography as well as a description of the series. The poets represented in this group are, in chronological order: Denise Levertov, Robert Francis, John Beecher, X.J. Kennedy, Stanley Kunitz, Ken Smith, Adrienne Rich, Anselm Hollo, David Ignatow, Muriel Rukeyser, and Al Purdy.
