The first book, a collection of poems, published by the precocious sixteen year-old son of famous Paramount Pictures founder Jesse Lasky. Jesse Lasky, Jr. went on to a prolific and highly successful career as a screenwriter, with numerous credits to his name including the Cecil B. De Mille epics "Samson and Delilah" and "The Ten Commandments."
