Ginsebrg's second self-subsidized book, inscribed and signed -- dated May 23/'41 -- to a New Jersey friend Louis E. Bloetjes. With a second inscription in red pencil in another hand "to Kent Nesslage" and with the name "Kent Nesslage" written again on the front pastedown. Louis E. Bloetjes was an administrator at Columbia University and Kent Nesslage an artist; Louis Ginsberg published poems in numerous magazines and produced four books, but never enjoyed anything like the literary success of his son Allen.
