A very nice copy of the priest-turned-novelist's book about the lives of young women in Catholic Ireland. The rare dust jacket reproduces a letter to the publisher from George Moore as a blurb in the front panel; the bookplate is that of newspaper publisher and collector J.L. Sturtevant.
