Double biography of the Vaudeville comedy duo, featuring an appendix of musical scores for some of their songs. Weber & Fields enjoyed great popularity at the turn of the century, and reunited repeatedly for subsequent performances and tours. Their acidic interpersonal relationship was among the inspirations for Neil Simon's "The Sunshine Boys". This copy has been inscribed and signed on the first blank leaf: "July 14th, 1925, To Adolph Dohring, A real stage manager and genuine fellow, Joe Weber, Lew Fields"
