New York: Horace Liveright, 1928. Limited edition. 8vo, 310pp; cream cloth stamped in gilt. Fine, partly unopened copy in a lightly rubbed dust jacket with a couple of small tears. Item #205110
Originally published in 1920, shortly before Huneker's death, this was the influential critic's only novel. This edition, limited to 2300 stamp-numbered copies, was produced by Liveright in response to an expurgated, pirated edition that had recently appeared. It features a spectacular Paul Wenck dust jacket with a blurb by H.L. Mencken on the rear panel.
