Olga Wohlbrück (1867-1933) was an actress, director, and writer. She is recorded as the first German woman to direct a film, with her "Ein Mädchen zu Verschenken" (1913). Here she responds at length to a critic who had prompted her with a single word: "noch." Mentions Sudermann, Hauptmann, her novel "Die neue Rasse," etc.
