One of Prokosch's rare "Butterfly books" that he printed himself on a handpress. This is copy e out of a total edition of forty-four copies, with those lettered a-j bound in Lombardy paper. One of the more delicate of all of Prokosch's hand-printed chapbooks, on a poorer quality paper than most of them. This one additionally inscribed by Prokosch with a Christmas greeting to Josephine Crane, the major New York socialite and patron of the arts, a longtime friend of the poet.
